I am cooking: roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, gravy, and a crumble for after

I want to eat at 7pm. I have one oven and four hobs.

Give me a countdown, working backwards from serving time. One line per step, each with a clock time, like "5:40 potatoes into the oven".

Rules:
- I only have the kit listed above, so if two things need the oven at different temperatures, tell me and give me the way round it.
- Include the steps people forget: taking meat out of the fridge, resting it, heating plates, making gravy in the roasting tin.
- Mark the two or three moments where I have to do several things at once, so I can see them coming.
- Say which things can be done earlier in the day and just reheated.

End with the last ten minutes written out separately, because that is where it always goes wrong.

What you get: A clock-time countdown, the oven clashes flagged in advance, and the final ten minutes written out on their own.

The kit line is the whole thing

Most cooking timelines assume you have two ovens. Telling it exactly what you are cooking on forces it to find the actual clash, which is usually potatoes and a crumble wanting different temperatures at the same moment.

Why the last ten minutes get their own section

Every roast falls apart in the same window: gravy, resting, reheating plates and draining vegetables all collide. Pulling that out separately is the difference between a plan and a plan you can follow.
