ThinkFacility

Terms and conditions

The ground rules for using Think Facility: what you're free to do with what's here, and what we can't promise.

Last updated September 14, 2026.

These terms apply whenever you use thinkfacility.com, and using the site means you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it. How we handle data has its own page, the privacy policy.

What the site is, and what it isn't

Think Facility publishes AI news, longer features and musings, demos people have posted, and ready-made prompts. It's free. There are no accounts.

Everything here is general information, and none of it is financial or legal advice. AI products move a bit faster than anyone can write about them (prices and usage limits can go stale within days), which is why each story carries the date it was checked. Check the source before you rely on something for a purchase or a business decision.

The pages that explain error messages describe fixes that worked on the setups we tried. Yours may well differ, so keep a backup before you change anything that matters.

Using the prompts

Use the prompts on the prompt shelf however you like, at work too, and you don't need to credit us. The one thing we'd ask is that you don't republish the whole collection as your own prompt library.

What an AI tool writes back is between you and that tool. Check its output before acting on it, and follow the terms of whichever service you paste a prompt into (ChatGPT and Claude each have their own).

Our writing and other people's

The writing on Think Facility belongs to us. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine. Copying a whole piece onto another site isn't.

A fair amount of what appears here isn't ours. Quotes belong to the people who said them, and embedded posts belong to their authors (and to X or Reddit). Public-domain photos stay in the public domain. Product names such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini are their owners' trademarks, and nothing here is affiliated with or endorsed by any AI lab.

If you think something on the site uses your work without the right to, email us the page and what it uses. We'll look at it quickly.

Links, embeds and ads

Pages link to other sites and embed posts from X and Reddit. We don't control those sites, and their own terms apply once you're there.

The site carries advertising from Google, and an ad appearing here isn't an endorsement of what it advertises. Some links to Amazon are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

What you can't do here

Don't use the site to break the law, and don't try to break the site. That means no attacks, and no automated scraping heavy enough to slow it down for everyone else. If you only want to follow along, that's what the RSS feed is for.

No guarantees

We work hard to get things right. Granted, that isn't a promise: the site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and we can't guarantee it's always online or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, Think Facility isn't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or from relying on anything published on it. Some places don't allow limits like these, and where that's so, they apply only as far as the law there permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, the date at the top changes too, and using the site after an update means you accept the new version.
