Moonshot launched Kimi K3.1 Pro on October 23 and promised the weights for November 4. It kept that date, and the 2.8 trillion parameter model now sits on Hugging Face under a license that makes the biggest model hosts sign a separate deal.
Its license lets most companies run it free, but the biggest model hosts have to sign a separate deal with Moonshot first.
Moonshot stripped cyber training data from the open release, and says that cost it nearly ten points on its own exploit test.
