How many GPT-6 Astra messages do you get on ChatGPT Pro $100 and Pro $200?
GPT-6 Astra is GPT-6 Pro inside ChatGPT. Pro $200 gets 200 messages a week, Pro $100 gets 50 a week shared with GPT-5.6 Sol Pro, and Plus only gets Astra in Work and Codex.

GPT-6 Astra shows up inside ChatGPT under a different name. It's the model behind GPT-6 Pro, and OpenAI's help center says GPT-6 Pro runs on Pro $100, Pro $200, Business and Enterprise, with Enterprise access also depending on your workspace's model-access permissions.
Plus is where people get caught. Plus plans include GPT-6 Astra in ChatGPT Work and Codex, which are metered separately from Chat.

What the two Pro tiers actually differ on
Both Pro tiers carry the same core capabilities, and the difference is the usage allowance. OpenAI's About ChatGPT Pro tiers article puts a multiplier on it: Pro $100 unlocks 5x higher usage than Plus, and Pro $200 unlocks 20x. That's the plan-wide number, and the Pro models have their own counters underneath it.
How the GPT-6 Pro allowance runs out
On Pro $200, GPT-6 Pro gets 200 messages a week of its own. GPT-5.6 Sol Pro gets a separate 170 messages a day, and the two models together are capped at 200 messages a day. Reach the GPT-6 Pro weekly limit and ChatGPT moves you to GPT-5.6 Thinking at Medium; you can go back to GPT-5.6 Sol Pro by hand, as long as its daily allowance and the combined daily one still have room.
Pro $100 works the other way. Its 50 messages a week is one shared allowance across GPT-6 Pro and GPT-5.6 Sol Pro, so flipping between the two models doesn't find you any more messages once it's spent.
GPT-6 Pro has usage limits. A Pro subscription does not include unlimited use of the GPT-6 Pro model.
When it resets, and what support can do
ChatGPT displays the reset time when that information is available, and hitting an allowance doesn't mean your account was restricted. OpenAI is blunt about the rest: support doesn't reset ChatGPT or Codex usage limits, and there's no setting to increase or bypass a model's allowance.
Work and Codex keep their own allowances and credit rules, separate from Chat (that split is also why a Plus subscriber can use Astra at all). If Astra isn't showing up in the Codex CLI, the article names a version floor: 0.153.0 or newer.
The Pro $200 sign-up pause
As of September 10, 2026, OpenAI is temporarily pausing new sign-ups and upgrades to Pro $200, from Free, Go, Plus or Pro $100 alike. Existing Pro $200 subscriptions keep renewing and Pro $100 is untouched.
Anyone who had Pro $200 access on September 10, 2026, or whose access ended in the 30 days before that, gets one return to the plan during the pause. The return option stays open for 30 days after that access ends.
